The Sumner County Sharks are in their 3rd season of swimming in the Tennessee Special Olympics.  Swimmers enjoy making new friends and learning new skills each week at practice.  With wonderful support from parents, and coaches Angela, Kyla, and Zach, the swimmers work hard year-round in preparation for regional and state aquatic events!  Congratulations to the All-Boys' Relay team, consisting of Cory, Collin, Isaiah, and Juan, for taking home another 1st place medal at last year's State Summer Games!  Go Sharks!

Basketball

STATE CHAMPS!!!  Congratulations to the Sumner County Magic Basketball Team for bringing home the gold at last year's State Basketball Tournament held at Lipscomb University in March 2011.  These dedicated athletes work hard in the Winter and Spring seasons, in preparation for regional and state basketball games.  We truly appreciate the dedication of coaches Chelsea, Larry, and Zach, who have established a strong basketball program over the years.  Go Magic!

Flag Football

This year there were two flag football teams that represented Sumner County in the Tennessee State Flag Football State Tournament in September.  The athletes on both the CRUSH and the RAYS were lucky to have coaches Chad and Dave dedicate their time to football practice twice per week July-September.  Our flag football teams continues to grow in Sumner County!

Soccer

Sumner County is known for soccer!  Coach Dave works with soccer athletes at Gallatin High School during the Fall season, and prepares them for the State Soccer Tournament held at our own Drakes Creek Park in November.  Help keep soccer strong in Sumner County! 

Track & Field

The Sumner County Regional Spring Games were held on April 1st at Station Camp High School last year.  In addition, several athletes represented Sumner County in the Tennessee State Summer Games in May 2011.
